Integrated Architecture Builder
Integrated Architecture Builder (IAB)
The Integrated Architecture Builder (IAB) is a free software tool developed by Rockwell Automation to assist in designing and configuring control systems. It provides advanced selection assistance and a graphical interface for designing systems, including products communicating over networks like Ethernet/IP and subsystems that have components sharing a common backplane like PLCs. You can add I/O, networks, drives, on-machine cabling and wiring, motion control, and other devices to your system.
Key Features:
- System Design: Layout and validate control systems, generating proposals and bills of materials (BOMs) that provide the details of your control system.
- Product Selection: Advanced selection assistance to help you choose the appropriate components for your system.
- Graphical Interface: A user-friendly interface that simplifies the design process.
Getting Started:
- Download IAB: Access and download the Integrated Architecture Builder from the Rockwell Automation website.
Rockwell Automation Help Center
- Install the Software: Follow the installation instructions to set up IAB on your computer.
- Begin Designing: Use IAB to design and configure your control systems, leveraging its features to streamline the process.
